My process for commercial photography clients

Your Consultation: This call (over the phone or via zoom) helps me to understand your unique requirements. We’ll discuss what you are at currently, what you are wanting to achieve and your vision for the shoot. It’s totally fine if you don’t know where to start, I will guide you through the whole process. This is also when we can firm up a timeline.

Planning: We’ll carefully plan logistics, styling, hair and makeup, location, props, and talent (if needed), to prepare for a successful photoshoot. Together we’ll write a ‘shot list’ of must-have photos that I can work from on the day itself. As a commercial photographer in Nelson, I can shoot at my studio or at a location that suits you.

Photoshoot: Whether this is at my studio or at a location of your choice, the shoot will be a lot more fun than you are expect! My guidance with planning and preparation ensures that things will run smoothly, with minimal stress for you. If I’m photographing you and your team you can be sure I’ll capture your best angles and expressions, providing guidance throughout the session.

Post-production: I’ll do a quick edit on the best images, then upload them to an online gallery. From there, you can select your favourites for me to finish.

Delivery: Final images will be delivered within two weeks in your preferred formats via an online gallery. I’ll deliver them in both colour and black & white.
